Animals

The beautiful and sometimes odd, but always fascinating world of creatures both great and small.

Finding and photographing the ever elusive creatures that inhabit this wonderful world of ours can be a daunting task at times. It can take from minutes to years to capture the perfect shot of some animals. Photographing animals requires being prepared to spend many long hours waiting in bitter cold or scorching hot temperatures for your quarry to arrive. Their arrival may last just seconds before they become aware of your presence, causing them to bolt in just the blink of an eye. But I cannot think of anything I would rather be doing.

Bald Eagles

A collection of photographs of my favorite bird, the Bald Eagle. These amazing birds are great fishermen but, they would rather steal from another bird than catch their own. They are wonderful to watch as they soar ever so gracefully and are fun but challenging to photograph.
